Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was smaller than expected but had a standard bedroom, attached toilet, and a balcony overlooking the sea. A special shoutout to Ms. Jezz from the Hyatt Regency Club for arranging and delivering a cake directly to our room. However, an additional mirror besides the one in the bathroom would have been useful.
The hotel offers comfortable rooms with good A/C and a tasty dine-in menu, although it can be a bit noisy. The service is friendly and the facility has been recently renovated, but might benefit from more training. The location is superb, just a few minutes walk to restaurants and amenities, yet a bit far from some facilities. Dining could be improved slightly, and the spread might not be as varied as expected.
The hotel is a mixed bag with clean and comfortable rooms but lacking in dining options. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The location offers proximity to the beach and local eateries, though not well lit. Overall, a decent value for money stay.
The hotel offers fantastic sea views, spacious and well-appointed rooms, with very friendly service. However, the dining experience could improve, and the location, while beautiful, lacks maintenance in some areas.
The hotel offers decent and clean rooms with a fold-able bed and a huge sofa where our 9-year-old daughter could sleep easily. The rooms are quite run down but still acceptable. The hotel is located in an excellent spot, close to public restaurants with a private beach, yet far enough from the city center to create a less busy surrounding. The dining experience could be improved with more variety, and the homemade ice cream is a must-try.
The hotel's location is premium, right next to fast food outlets and Starbucks Teluk Chempedak, making it a convenient choice. The rooms were ready before the designated check-in time, but lacked mirrors aside from a small one in the toilet. The service was so helpful and friendly, especially accommodating our request for a ground floor room due to our elderly mother. The dining experience was satisfactory but not exceptional with ok options. The facilities included a modest play gym for young ones.
The hotel offers some nice wine and hors d'oeuvres options in comfortable rooms, but they were only ready by 5 pm, and the lack of carpet made them dirty and sandy after the beach visits. The service was exceptional, with fresh coffee for guests, but they forgot our complimentary bed deco for our anniversary. The location is great, near the city and the beach, although occasionally jammed, and the dining options are full of choices with Malaysian and Asian cuisine, but no longer self-service. Overall, a mixed experience with its ups and downs.
The hotel staff was responsive to my room booking issue, ensuring a neat and clean room. However, the noise from illegal parties was disruptive despite the reasonable price value.
The hotel is located near the store with individual rooms at the expected standard of Hyatt Management. However, the open concept room where the bathroom is not lockable can be uncomfortable.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel; the room was comfortable and nicely upgraded. However, it's not entirely safe for kids due to easy access to the sliding door. The service was top-notch and very helpful throughout my 3-day stay. The location is superb, close to the beach, bazaar, and various cafes and shops. The dining experience was a bit disappointing for the price, although there was a variety of food offered.
